Job summary

Templeshannon Community & Childcare Centre in Enniscorthy is seeking a Graduate Lead Educator to join our warm, inclusive team.

You will lead your room of dedicated early years educators, plan play-based activities, and ensure high standards of care and learning while building strong partnerships with parents.

Qualifications

• A Level 7 (or higher) in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in an Early Years setting, with leadership experience preferred.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of enthusiastic early years educators to deliver engaging, high-quality activities.
• Create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
• Plan and implement a play-based curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity, and development.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider Early Years team.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of your room, implementing and maintaining the high standards as per our policies and procedures.
• Support and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and positive atmosphere.

Position: Graduate Lead Educator

Location: Templeshannon Community & Childcare Centre, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30

Rate of pay: €18 per hour

Contract: Full-time, term time contract with immediate start to end of June 2027, with a possibility of extending
