Safari Childcare Limited is seeking one Early Years Lead Educator for the premises located at Hamilton Gardens, Carnlough Road, Cabra, Dublin 7

Main Duties

• Lead and supervise the daily operation of an Early Years room, ensuring high quality care and education for children.
• Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate learning activities in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Guide, observe, support and supervise children in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
• Monitor children's progress and development through observations and assessments.
• Maintain records of children's learning and development and communicate progress to parents/guardians.
• Ensure observations and learning activities are linked to Aistear themes and support individual development plans.
• Support, mentor and supervise Early Years Educators and students within the room.
• Ensure compliance with the Child Care Act 1991, Early Years Services Regulations 2016, Children First guidelines, and service policies and procedures.
• Maintain required room records, accident reports, attendance registers and other documentation.
• Promote positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure health, safety and welfare standards are maintained at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programmes and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Must hold an Irish or recognised Level 6 qualification (or higher) in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent recognised qualification.
