Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join our groundwater team in Dublin. You will be involved in monitoring, field investigations, data analysis, and contributing to technical reports across Ireland and internationally.

The role offers exposure to groundwater resources, hydrogeology methods, and multi-disciplinary projects, with opportunities to grow professional skills in a global consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Science; MSc in Hydrogeology preferred.
• Full working rights in Ireland.
• No more than 12 months of professional experience in a related role.
• Transcript copy required with application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater and surface water monitoring; collect samples and measure water levels.
• Assist with field investigations: borehole logging, soil/rock sampling, pumping tests.
• Analyze environmental data using Excel and GIS; track water quality/quantity trends.
• Contribute to technical reports and environmental assessments; organize field data and maps.
• Support senior team on water resource management and related projects.
