Job summary

AtkinsRéalis invites applications for a Hydrogeologist to join our Ireland team (Dundalk, Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork) to manage groundwater projects and protect habitats while supporting sustainable water supplies. You will lead tasks, develop client relationships, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with engineers and scientists.

A degree in science/engineering, relevant consultancy experience, and driving licence are required; Chartered status is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, engineering or mathematics.
• Experience in consultancy, water company, regulator or academic fields.
• Knowledge of water resources/hydrogeology and Water Framework Directive.

Responsibilities

• Win, deliver and manage a portfolio of hydrogeology projects.
• Develop trusted client relationships and write high quality reports.
• Undertake data gathering, processing, calculations, modelling and conceptualisation.
• Collaborate with other hydrogeologists and mentor junior staff.
• Support proposal writing and costing and contribute to project development.
