Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Hydrogeologist in Dublin to join our groundwater team. You will conduct groundwater and surface water monitoring, assist with field investigations, and help prepare technical reports and assessments for projects in Ireland and internationally.

The ideal candidate holds a Geology or Earth Science degree (MSc in Hydrogeology preferred) and has exposure to data analysis, GIS, and field methods. A growth mindset and strong written communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Geology, Earth Science or related field.
• MSc in Hydrogeology or related discipline preferred.
• Recent graduates with relevant hydrogeology experience considered.
• Knowledge of groundwater monitoring and data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater and surface water monitoring.
• Assist with field investigations including borehole logging and pumping tests setup.
• Manage and analyse environmental data using Excel and GIS.
• Contribute to technical reports and environmental assessments.
• Support senior team on water resource projects and related tasks.
