Job summary

Arup is seeking Graduates in Engineering Geology to join our Ireland team. You will work on major infrastructure and environmental projects, delivering ground investigations, assessments and reports as part of multidisciplinary teams across civil and environmental disciplines.

As a Graduate Engineering Geologist you will gain hands-on field and desk experience, with opportunities to contribute to EIAs, environmental documentation and technical studies while developing toward chartership.

Qualifications

To be considered, recently graduated or on track to graduate from a related degree before employment starts.
No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
Academic transcript must be provided.

Responsibilities

Conduct geological, hydrogeological and geotechnical desk studies and develop ground models.
Plan and interpret ground investigations, site inspections and logging activities.
Provide geological and geotechnical input to EIAs and regulatory submissions.
Prepare technical and environment-related reports and assessments.
Identify and manage ground-related risks across project lifecycles.
Collaborate with engineers and environmental specialists on multidisciplinary teams.
