Job summary

Jacobs is launching a two-year Graduate Development Program in Ireland to accelerate your growth as a graduate civil engineer. You’ll receive on-job training, mentoring, and networking across four key capability areas as you contribute to real projects with our highways and civils teams.

The program offers exposure from initial concept through to construction, with support to prepare feasibility studies, scheme reports and highway designs.

About the opportunity

Jacobs is a market leader in the transportation sector, working with major clients like National Highways, Transport for Scotland, Manchester Airport Group, Heathrow Ltd, HS2 Ltd and the Welsh Government. From global mega-projects like King Salman International Airport to local initiatives with councils and transport authorities, we offer opportunities to make a real impact-both worldwide and in your own community.

The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities to support on delivering some of Jacobs most exciting and challenging global pursuits. You will be provided with on-job training using the latest software tools and will have exposure to various stages of schemes from initial concept through to construction. You will be expected to assist and support colleagues in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, and highway designs as part of your development to becoming a professionally qualified engineer. As a new graduate within our Highways& Civils team you will have the opportunity to make your mark and influence the continuing growth of Jacobs

The start date for this position is September 2027.
