Job summary

Jacobs in Ireland is seeking Civil Engineers at all levels to join our teams across the country. You will contribute to detailed design and Design & Build projects in the water and wastewater sector, supporting from concept to completion.

Senior roles offer leadership of projects with focus on regulatory compliance, safety, and high-quality outcomes. Early-career professionals will have opportunities to develop skills on major frameworks alongside industry experts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in civil engineering with knowledge of detailed design and/or design-and-build projects for water and wastewater assets.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Irish water sector regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; leadership experience for senior roles.

Responsibilities

  • Support or lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Ensure technical delivery meets Irish regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Contribute to mentoring and team development (for senior roles).

For senior roles, you'll lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. For those earlier in their career, you'll have the chance to develop your skills on major frameworks and work alongside industry experts.

Key Responsibilities

Here's what you'll need

  • Professional membership (Engineers Ireland, ICE, or CIWEM) desirable but not essential
