Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Dublin is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Civil & Structural Engineers to join our Energy team, supporting Ireland’s energy transition and infrastructure resilience. You’ll work with experienced professionals to develop technical judgement, digital capability, and collaborative skills for a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering obtained 2025 or later.
• Interest in energy transition and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to feasibility studies, optioneering, FEED and detailed design.
• Design civil works for substations and grid infrastructure, including earthworks and drainage.
• Support structural design for reinforced concrete and steelwork, including foundations and connections.
• Use digital design and analysis tools to develop calculations, models, drawings and reports.
• Collaborate with electrical, geotechnical, environmental and other specialists to develop safe, practical solutions.
• Participate in site visits, surveys and construction-stage support to understand conditions.
