Job summary

Mott MacDonald is offering a graduate structural engineer position in Ireland. You will work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver structural solutions across diverse sectors, gaining exposure from feasibility through to construction support and site inspections.

You’ll join a three-year early careers program with mentorship and a structured learning path, focusing on technical skills and professional development. A hybrid working arrangement is available.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Science with a structural specialism.
Strong interest in structural engineering and sustainability.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural solutions for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Develop conceptual design options and contribute to feasibility studies.
Undertake detailed design using reinforced concrete, steelwork, and other structural materials.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support site visits and inspections.
