Savills Ireland is inviting applications for our Building Surveying Graduate Programme in Dublin. You will work alongside Chartered Building Surveyors and Project Managers, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial property projects while building the technical, professional and commercial skills required to achieve chartership.

Qualifications

• Relevant Building Surveying qualification
• Eligible to pursue the APC pathway towards MRICS/MSCSI qualification
• Strong work ethic, curiosity and willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Commercial awareness and an interest in the Irish property market
• Client-focused with excellent relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Supporting technical due diligence surveys and reports
• Assisting with condition surveys and building inspections
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Assisting in diagnosing building defects and identifying solutions
• Exposure to conservation and heritage property projects
• Supporting Project Management and Contract Administration commissions
• Assisting in the preparation of specifications and technical documentation
• Monitoring project progress and construction quality
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors and project teams
• Exposure to refurbishment, fit‑out and development projects
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients
• Developing an understanding of landlord and tenant matters
• Learning how to provide strategic advice on commercial property assets
• Building strong client relationships through direct project involvement
