Job summary

Arup is hiring a Graduate Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer in Ireland. You will work with seasoned engineers on challenging bridge and civil projects, developing technical, digital and professional skills for a rewarding career.

You’ll assist in analysis and design, prepare calculations and reports, build structural models, coordinate BIM, and participate in site visits through all design stages from concept to construction, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (NFQ Level 8).
• Applicants studying towards a Master’s degree are encouraged to apply.
• Degree accredited by Engineers Ireland or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis and design of bridges and civil infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports and design documentation.
• Develop structural models and perform assessments using industry software.
• Contribute to sustainable, resilient infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with highways, rail, geotechnical and environmental teams.
• Support BIM deliverables and drawings coordination.
• Participate in site visits and construction support activities.
• Contribute across design lifecycle from concept to construction.
