Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited in Dublin is seeking a dynamic Bridge Engineer to join our office. You will design and analyze bridge and civil structures, delivering outputs within multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll contribute to project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines and budget compliance while developing technical knowledge toward professional accreditation. Ideal candidates hold a Level 9 Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering, are Chartered or nearing Chartership, and are familiar with

Qualifications

• Level 9 Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartership.
• Full Irish Driving Licence.
• Experience in design/assessment of concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design delivery: structural design/analysis of bridge and civil structures.
• Provide input to design and contribute to structural solutions under guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines and budget.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs.
• Support communications with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead or support bridge inspections across Ireland as required.
• Develop technical knowledge and work towards professional accreditation.
• Assist in PSDP duties where required.
