Job summary

EirGrid, Ireland's electricity grid operator, seeks an experienced governance professional to support the Onshore PMO. You will coordinate governance schedules, prepare agendas and minutes, track actions, and ensure timely reporting to CIO and the EirGrid plc Board.

You will work with Strategy Office and stakeholders, audit governance processes, and drive continuous improvements. Strong stakeholder skills and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting PMO, governance, or project delivery functions.
• Strong governance and meeting management skills, including agendas, minutes, logs, and action trackers.
• Experience coordinating reporting activities for senior management or board-level forums.
• Ability to provide governance advice and constructive challenge to stakeholders.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance schedules and meetings; prepare and collate governance documentation.
• Record decisions and actions; assign ownership; track progress to completion.
• Support monthly reporting to the CIO function and EirGrid plc Board; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide governance advice and challenge to stakeholders to support decision-making; monitor governance effectiveness.
