Johnson & Jonnson is recruiting a Manager, Trade Controls to shape compliant, scalable global trade processes from Ringaskiddy, Ireland. The role sits in Strategy & Transformation and partners with regional supply chain, logistics, compliance and business leaders to embed controls in operating models.

Travel up to 15–20% will be required as part of global initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration. A Bachelor’s in a related field is required, MBA or certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA) or advanced certification in trade compliance or supply chain (preferred).
• Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of global trade controls, import/export regulations, and customs.
• Experience with SAP GTS and cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global trade controls strategies aligned with Global Supply Chain objectives.
• Provide SME on import/export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance.
• Embed trade compliance into new processes, systems, and operating models.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of trade controls across regions.
• Assess trade risks and develop mitigation to support global supply and compliance.
• Support network optimization, supplier transitions, and new product introductions from a trade controls perspective.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT to ensure alignment.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
