Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes unit is recruiting a Manager, Trade Controls, to lead global trade controls strategies within Strategy & Transformation. Based in Ireland or other listed countries, you will partner with Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and IT to embed regulatory requirements into processes and systems.

The role focuses on standardization, risk assessment, and scalable trade solutions across regions, requiring 6–8 years in trade compliance and hands-on SAP GTS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, international trade, logistics, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA and/or trade compliance certification is preferred.
• 6–8 years of progressive global trade compliance and supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, sanctions, and customs requirements.
• Hands-on SAP GTS experience managing Sanctioned Party List and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of global trade controls strategies.
• Provide SME on import/export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance.
• Embed trade compliance requirements into new processes, systems, and operating models.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of trade controls and governance.
• Assess trade-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support global initiatives like network optimization and product introductions from a trade perspective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
