Job summary

Klaviyo is building a Site Reliability Engineering foundation in Dublin. You will lead a world-class team responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of our global platform, partnering with product and platform teams to embed reliability throughout the software lifecycle.

You will own incident response, capacity planning, and drive automation to enable fast, safe delivery across time zones, shaping a center of excellence for trusted software.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing SRE/DevOps/Security Engineering teams.
• Hands-on with cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS preferred).
• Strong background in distributed systems, observability, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams and driving reliability across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a unified SRE organization.
• Champion a secure and reliable by design approach across engineering teams.
• Own availability, latency, performance, capacity planning, monitoring, and incident response for Klaviyo’s platform.
• Build automated, self-service tooling and infrastructure to accelerate delivery.
• Ensure GDPR and international data protection compliance.
• Lead through incidents with blameless post-mortems and systemic improvements.
