Job summary

&Open is a Dublin-based gift-tech startup helping brands automate gifts across platforms. You will be our first Solutions Engineer, sitting between customers and product, designing integrations and turning promises into real, working setups.

You’ll work with APIs, HubSpot workflows, and cross-system automations, documenting playbooks and delivering live configurations. This role is remote-friendly with occasional travel and a fast-paced startup vibe.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in a solutions engineering role at a B2B software company.
• End-to-end integrations delivered with customers.
• Comfort with APIs and webhooks; can read API docs and test requests.
• Hands-on with a CRM like HubSpot and automation tools like Zapier or Make.
• Some ability to code and to explain technical constraints to customers.

Responsibilities

• Run technical demos of cross-system flows and APIs.
• Gather customer requirements and design integrated solutions.
• Set up integrations and HubSpot workflows for live use.
• Drive adoption of automations and keep them running.
• Troubleshoot integrations and write or improve documentation.
• Feed learnings back to Product and Engineering to close gaps.
