Job summary

&Open is a Dublin-based startup seeking a Solutions Engineer to connect customers with our platform. You’ll design, implement, and own integrations from demos to live deployments, working between customers and our product/engineering teams.

The role is hands-on, cross-functional, and requires strong communication and documentation skills. You’ll collaborate with sales, product and engineering, and you’ll adapt as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in a solutions engineering or technical account management role at a B2B software company.
• End-to-end integrations delivered with learnings and outcomes.
• Comfort with APIs, webhooks and system plumbing.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing platforms.
• Some ability to code and land small changes with an engineer's review.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for playbooks and docs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of a new role.
• Based in Dublin or GMT-friendly remote with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Run technical demos across integrations, flows and the API.
• Gather customer requirements and define what “working” looks like.
• Design solutions that fit the customer’s systems and workflows.
• Set up integrations and HubSpot workflows to go live.
• Drive adoption by ensuring automations run end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot and support integrations and bespoke solutions.
• Write and review documentation and playbooks, sharing learnings with the team.
• Feed learnings back to Product and Engineering to improve features.
• Ship small, contained code changes when needed.
• Leverage AI for reporting, research synthesis and prototyping.
