Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Global Sanctions Lead to own and evolve our sanctions function across geographies. You will lead regional teams, drive the program's transformation, and partner with Engineering and Product to modernize sanctions operations.

The role requires steering complex casework, maintaining regulatory awareness, and reporting program health to senior leadership as part of a fintech platform's compliance ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sanctions compliance or financial crimes with senior leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in OFAC, EU, HMT, UN sanctions regimes.
• Experience evaluating or transitioning sanctions tooling.
• Ability to partner with Engineering and Product on tooling design.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sanctions managers and analysts across regions; ensure throughput and quality.
• Own strategic direction of global sanctions program, screening coverage and escalation frameworks.
• Drive transformation toward automation and smarter detection.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to translate sanctions requirements into tooling inputs.
• Ensure audit trails and explainability; lead regulatory exams and inquiries.
