Job summary
Stripe in Dublin seeks a senior compliance advisor within FinCRO's ProUse team to embed compliance intelligence into our platform and scale our global user base. You will partner with GTM, Risk, Legal and regional teams to translate complex regulations into practical product controls, guiding risk assessments and documenting requirements.

Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience building compliance programs in regulated financial services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial crimes/AML practices.
- Proven ability to independently lead multiple complex projects and programs.
- Ability to translate regulations into comprehensive, proportionate compliance programs.
- Experience evaluating complex user requests for compliance risk and enabling users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with GTM and business teams to identify compliance roadblocks and design compliant paths.
- Lead compliance reviews and risk assessments for material user matters.
- Influence roadmaps by translating compliance requirements into product, controls and reporting expectations.
- Lead with a first-principles approach to novel user-related questions and practical paths forward.
- Explain intricate compliance requirements to users and first line teams with authority and empathy.
- Work with Legal and regional officers to support cross-functional user enablement designs.
