Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Install Engineer to secure proper tool installation at customer sites and oversee all activities to ensure a KLA tool functions accurately. The role covers site surveys, pre-installation, installation, troubleshooting, acceptance, training, and providing the product for further use.

Responsibilities include customer meetings to scope needs, action planning, validating deliverables, and performing system tests per procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Good level technical & analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot problems in software and electronic, optic, mechanical, electro-mechanical or electro-optical systems.
• Work experience in semiconductor industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-installation activities with customers to capture requirements.
• Install tool at customer site to meet KLA specifications and perform system testing.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and manage escalations across regions.
• Provide install training to worldwide customer support engineering teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through regular updates and post-activity reviews.
