Match Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Privacy Counsel to lead global cybersecurity matters and steer privacy and data regulation initiatives. Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree.
• 5+ years of legal experience with focus on privacy, cybersecurity, AI and/or technology law.
• Hands-on experience advising on cybersecurity incident response, including regulatory notification obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of GDPR, PIPEDA, US state privacy and cybersecurity laws, and willingness to learn others.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical and product teams and translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as lead counsel for global cybersecurity matters as a core member of the incident response team; advise on breach assessment, regulatory notification obligations, and legal strategy across jurisdictions.
• Monitor and operationalize emerging privacy, cyber, and data laws globally; horizon scanning, gap analysis, and translating obligations into compliant programs (AI, biometrics, breach notification).
• Partner with Security on vendor risk assessments, audits, and compliance frameworks.
• Advise product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design for new features and data flows.
• Develop and maintain internal legal guidance, policies, and playbooks.
• Support audits, assessments, and cross-functional governance initiatives within the global privacy program.
