Job summary

E‑Frontiers in Dublin seeks a Lead Platform Architect for a 12-month contract, offering hybrid/remote flexibility. You will design secure, scalable internet infrastructure across global platforms and deliver Architecture Documents guiding enterprise standards.

You will drive design from concept to delivery, collaborating with engineering and application teams, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability while evaluating new technologies and architectural approaches.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lead/architect roles for complex enterprise infra environments.
• Strong understanding of internet infrastructure, middleware, OS and networks.
• Experience with cloud technologies, load balancers and web application firewalls.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation, plus YAML deployment practices.
• Excellent communication across global, matrixed teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of end-to-end internet and middleware infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards.
• Produce Technical Architecture Documents (TADs) and architectural artefacts.
• Collaborate with application teams, engineers and stakeholders to refine system requirements.
• Lead problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning and change management.
• Evaluate emerging technologies while ensuring security, scalability and availability.
