Job summary

DHL Group in Carrigtwohill, Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Distribution Planner to manage multimodal freight forwarding, forecasting, and distribution activities. Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, distribution planning or supply chain management.
• Experience with logistics systems and data tools (SAP, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
• Knowledge of GDP/GxP and international shipping regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track multimodal shipments, optimizing routes and carriers.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop shipping forecasts based on demand analysis.
• Generate and analyse KPIs for planning and distribution.
• Collaborate with planning, customer service and other departments.
• Serve as the liaison for customer inquiries related to shipping and distribution.
• Ensure distribution activities meet industry standards and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvements to distribution processes.
