Job summary

Sarepta Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Medical Engagement Lead to serve as the primary medical liaison for global neuromuscular experts outside the US. You will lead international KOL engagement strategies, cultivate scientific partnerships, and generate insights to influence medical and development strategy while representing Sarepta in the neuromuscular community.

You will provide scientific leadership across Duchenne and related disorders, partnering with Global Medical Affairs

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD/MB BCh BAO/MBBS/MBChB/Dr. med./PhD)
• Significant clinical/scientific/Medical Affairs experience
• Experience leading Medical Affairs at regional/global level
• Previous Medical Director or Senior Medical Director experience
• Neurology/Neuromuscular experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international KOL engagement strategy
• Liaise with international key opinion leaders and investigators outside the US
• Build relationships with DMD, FSHD, DM1 and related neuromuscular communities
• Translate insights into strategy for Global Medical Affairs
• Lead advisory boards, investigator meetings, and congress activities
• Support clinical trials through investigator engagement and site training
• Support investigator-initiated research and registries
• Maintain knowledge of emerging literature and industry trends
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Commercial teams
• Travel 50-60% internationally to engage stakeholders
