Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Ireland seeks a LV SWGR SKIDS IEC Product Manager to lead lifecycle management from development to phaseout across the EMEA region. You will collaborate with engineering, marketing, and service to drive growth, pricing strategies, and global routes to market for innovative skid solutions.

The role focuses on AI/Cloud, Edge computing, and data center applications, with heavy emphasis on customer partnering, supply chain coordination, and regional profitability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing.
• MBA beneficial but not required.
• Demonstratable experience in Engineering / Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations and working with cross-functional teams to identify and execute on priority actions.
• Ability to drive and accept change, continuous improvement processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet and Power BI experience beneficial.
• Ability to interface with Customers at executive and technical levels, required.
• Experience leading cross functional meetings and presenting to small groups, both in person and via digital conference calls (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
• NPDI (New Product Development Introduction) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Experience
• Demonstrated curiosity and a lifelong learner.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the LV SWGR SKIDS IEC product lifecycle management function, including hardware, configuration software, and start-up services provided by EMEA Vertiv Service Team, from new product development, through growth and phaseout.
• Coordination with peers to drive innovation, development, and delivery, including specializations for AI, Cloud Services, Edge Computing, and customized applications in the data center market.
• Enablement of global routes to market to facilitate commercial success with regional partners’ business models.
• Enablement of supply bases for competitive fulfillment across regions; leverage Vertiv’s global manufacturing footprint.
• Competitive assessment in the IEC EMEA marketplace, including technology and market partnership opportunities.
• Identification of emerging market opportunities in cloud, colocation, and enterprise data center applications in the EMEA region.
• Facilitation of tools like configuration development, content creation, and data management for stakeholders.
• Responsible for LV SWGR SKID configurator list pricing and pricing management with EMEA SWGR Cost Manager and finance.
• Achievement of positioning as a trusted adviser to customers and regional partners; participate in industry groups influencing codes and standards.
• Drive and facilitate LV SWGR SKIDS technical input and requirement specs for new product development at product and system level.
• Lead and enable design improvements at the product and system level across lifecycle including logistics, packaging, assembly, commissioning, operation and end-of-life support; consider circular economy and EHS.
