Job summary

Vertiv seeks an Electrical Engineer for its Skidded Switchgear Solutions team in Ireland. You will design and integrate skidded electrical structures from bid to installation, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or building services.
• 1+ year of practical experience in engineering projects.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, EPLAN/Amtech and MS Office.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, organisation, flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Skidded Structures: manage electrical design/integration of skidded solutions from bid to installation; prepare design/workshop docs and BoMs.
• Ensuring compliance with international, national and internal standards; ensure safe, cost-effective designs.
• Collaborating across teams with architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and site engineers for cohesive execution.
• Approving and reviewing subcontractor workshop docs and supplier offers; specify materials and certifications.
• Support fabrication/assembly with technical guidance; coordinate with site managers and quality control.
