Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Ireland is seeking a technically proficient engineer to join a global team focused on electrical and mechanical design for switchboard and switchgear in Europe and North America. Qualifications

Proven experience in design engineering and assembly of electrical power distribution equipment.
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial with related software experience is beneficial.
Understanding IEC standards (IEC 61439-2) is required; UL knowledge is helpful but not required.
Aptitude for problem solving and applying it to electrical control design.
Adaptability to a fast-moving business environment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Partner with R&D for IEC switchboard and switchgear design for the EMEA market.
Develop item master detail to feed the configurator (C1) and bridge to the sales BOM.
Collaborate with cost management to tie configurations to pricing.
Own master data fields in Oracle to support Sales and Engineering BOMs.
Create and evolve requirement specifications for the C1 Team to meet product needs.
