Job summary

1GLOBAL is seeking a Senior Lawful Interception Architect to join our Ireland team. You will collaborate with engineers and Legal, Regulatory, Security and Technology to design and implement country-specific compliance solutions for lawful interception.

You will manage multiple projects, liaise with national authorities, and drive end-to-end software lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure outcomes across MVNOs and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• English proficiency mandatory; other languages are a plus.
• Excellent understanding of Mobile Networks and architectures.
• Experience with MVNO architecture(s) and roaming; regulatory aspects.
• Experience in lawful interception frameworks (ETSI, CALEA) and gateways.
• Experience with interception in Core Network functions (CS/PS, Voice, SMS/MMS, Data).
• Experience with 5G Core, LTE, IMS, IP technologies and security.
• Experience in writing High Level Designs and Low Level Designs; presenting docs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to determine requirements and risks for each country.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Lead conversations with national authorities to translate legal requirements into scalable solutions.
• Design Lawful Interception integrations for MVNOs and countries.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security and Regulatory teams on compliance processes.
• Act as technical POC for engineering and integration issues on Lawful Intercept projects.
• Drive the complete lifecycle of the software, including testing with law enforcement.
• Collaborate on operational interception processes and procedures.
• Define reliable, modular, compliance-centric solutions and review them.
• Present solutions in documents and workshops with resource estimates.
