Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks an Intelligence Operations Analyst to monitor global security events in the Ireland CSOC. You will track incidents that could impact personnel, assets, or operations, delivering timely situational awareness and initial assessments.

You will collaborate with ESOC, Corporate Security, and cross-functional teams, maintain incident logs, and support 24/7 coverage with rotating shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security operations center or related field.
• Ability to rapidly review large volumes of information.
• Strong written communication to summarize fast-moving situations clearly.
• Calm, focused, and detail-oriented under high-tempo conditions.
• Willingness to work rotational, 24/7 schedule.
• Familiarity with OSINT sources and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time, all-source monitoring of global security events using OSINT, media, and social platforms.
• Triage alerts and identify details affecting employees, facilities, or operations.
• Provide initial situational awareness and context for incidents.
• Draft and share timely incident notifications and updates per ESOC/CSOC procedures.
• Maintain heightened monitoring during elevated threat periods.
• Capture and maintain incident logs and actions for continuity and after-action reviews.
• Collaborate with ESOC and Corporate Security partners for information sharing.
• Support rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
