Job summary

Equal1 Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head of People to own and scale HR across five jurisdictions. You will shape culture, leadership capability, and employee experience in a fast-growth deep-tech environment.

This role partners with external consultants and internal leaders to implement scalable processes and maintain compliance. You will drive compensation design, performance management, onboarding, and HR data governance while building a high-performance, values-led culture across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR / People Operations experience in a scaling tech or R&D environment.
• Experience with Irish employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing HR across multiple countries/jurisdictions with external providers.
• Strong knowledge of employment contracts and HR compliance fundamentals.
• Experience partnering with Finance on budgets, headcount planning, and compensation inputs.
• Excellent communication, judgement, discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable HR foundations, policies, and templates for a high-growth tech company.
• Ensure robust HR compliance, GDPR, training, and record-keeping across jurisdictions.
• Lead compensation foundations, benchmarking, and annual review cycles.
• Implement a lightweight performance and development framework for managers.
• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding across five jurisdictions.
