Job summary

Dartmouth Partners is partnering with a leading global B2B software and technology business to appoint a Strategy Director to work on special projects within the Marketing function. This high-exposure role combines strategy, analytics and cross-functional execution to identify opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and influence senior leadership decisions.

Reporting to the CMO, you will drive strategic projects from insight generation to implementation, collaborating across

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
• Experience in a top-tier strategy firm (MBB preferred) and at least one year in industry.
• Strong exposure to marketing, GTM and data-related projects in a strategy function.
• B2B SaaS experience preferred; exposure to tech/infra/engineering roles advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the global marketing strategy and operating model with the CMO.
• Research industry best practices, trends and innovative marketing approaches.
• Leverage internal/external data to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Develop data-driven recommendations and present to senior stakeholders.
• Lead high-priority strategic projects from problem definition to execution.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, technology and research to drive outcomes.
• Develop processes, frameworks, and capabilities across the marketing function.
• Combine analytical rigour with pragmatic execution to translate recommendations into results.
• Create executive-level presentations, business cases and strategic communications.
• Drive special projects on behalf of the CMO and marketing leadership.
