Job summary

AbbVie’s Accounting & Finance Development Program (AFDP) offers four six-month rotations over two years, developing strong accounting and financial leadership across commercial, operations, finance shared services, and corporate functions. It provides exposure to leaders, cross-functional work in a matrix environment, and professional training to accelerate career growth in finance.

Rotations are located in Ireland (Westport) and across EU sites, with two weeks in the United States; placements

Qualifications

• Recently completed a Master’s (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Strong academic performance, minimum 2.1.
• Successful completion of at least three accounting courses (each with 3 credit hours) by graduation, with one focused on cost or managerial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Complete separate professional work assignments within finance areas such as budgets, plans forecasting, reporting & controls, and manufacturing operations accounting.
• Rotations across four sites/locations in Europe and the US, with two years of structured development.
