Job summary

CAI is seeking a Global Director, General Ledger to lead the worldwide Record-to-Report process, close cycles, and balance sheet integrity across multiple entities. You will drive journal governance, intercompany accounting, and consolidation support in a regulated, high-stakes environment.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting leadership, strong technical knowledge, and proven ability to partner with FP&A, Tax, and Acquisition teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 8+ years in accounting, general ledger, controllership, consolidation or record-to-report.
• Experience with ERP systems, multi-currency accounting, intercompany processes and internal controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the global Record-to-Report process and close calendar management.
• Establish global GL policies, ownership standards, reconciliation templates and close checklists.
• Provide technical accounting expertise on standards interpretation and changes.
• Lead monthly and annual close across countries and shared services.
• Govern the chart of accounts, legal entity structure and cost centers.
• Partner with FP&A and Tax to support reporting, KPI analysis and compliance.
• Support acquisition integration by mapping ledgers and aligning policies.
• Strengthen controls over manual journals, reconciliations and close certifications.
