Job summary

CAI seeks a Senior Global Director, Tax and Audit to lead the global tax strategy, compliance, and audit governance across multiple jurisdictions as the company expands from 11 to 20+ countries.

The role partners with Accounting, FP&A, and external advisors to ensure timely filings, accurate tax provision, and defense of positions. Strong leadership and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Business required.
• CPA/JD/LLM in Tax or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive tax, audit, controllership, or statutory reporting with multinational exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global tax strategy, including corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST and other indirect taxes.
• Coordinate global tax compliance calendar across income tax filings and regulatory changes.
• Manage global tax advisors, audit partners, statutory firms, and local providers for timely filings and audit completion.
• Support tax provision, cash tax forecasting, and tax accounting with Accounting/FP&A.
• Own the global audit governance model, including annual consolidated financial statement audits across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate statutory audits in all required countries with local teams and external providers.
• Maintain a global tax and audit calendar and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
