Job summary
Novartis Ireland seeks a Senior Director, Portfolio Scientific Communications to set the global direction for how scientific data reaches the scientific community. You will lead a team across the Oncology portfolio and partner with Research, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs to support clinical adoption and improve patient care.
Based in Dublin, the role offers hybrid working and a comprehensive rewards package, including a base salary in line with market ranges and potential bonuses.
Qualifications
- Experience in publications and scientific communications activities.
- Proven ability to develop communication strategies and key scientific message platforms.
- Strategic insight into publication planning.
- Experience working in a global matrix organization.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of scientific communications associates across the disease portfolio.
- Lead the scientific communication strategy across the Oncology portfolio.
- Build the scientific communication platform with Oncology partners for consistent narratives.
- Define the publication strategy, data flow and plan linked to evidence generation.
- Co-create asset and pipeline scientific communication strategies with Research, Development and evidence generation teams.
- Build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
