Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Centre Manager to lead large-scale data centre operations in Ireland. You will manage engineers, maintain facilities, and drive performance using metrics while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure reliability and safety.

You will influence safe operations and continuous improvement, with a focus on Kaizen-like process enhancements and capacity planning to meet evolving cloud demands.

Qualifications

• Has managed a team of at least 5 individuals for 3+ years.
• Experience in data centres building or managing.
• Proven ability to improve processes and drive operational excellence.
• Exposure to incident, change and capacity management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop teams and ensure highest levels of performance.
• Maintain and expand data centres, including co-located and in-house facilities.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors to support operations.
• Create and maintain metrics to drive improvements across data centres.
• Implement service methodologies including incident, problem, change and capacity management.
