Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited seeks a Data Center Project Manager to oversee electrical, mechanical, controls and architectural aspects of data center projects. You will manage scope, schedule and budget while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors to deliver on time.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and have experience in data center operations, vendor management and using Microsoft Office to report progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Project management and oversight of construction activities related to modifying existing infrastructure to install or replace equipment; manage scope, timeline and budget.
• Provide project management for initiatives to increase data center resiliency.
• Electrical design and review for optimization of data centers.
• Review construction/project drawings and packages.
• Create project scope, RFPs and capital requests.
• Oversee commissioning plan and project quality and metrics.
