Job summary

GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction seeks a Cost & Project Controls Director to lead cost management and controls across a large portfolio of data centre and mission-critical projects from its Dublin base, with periods in Europe to support key initiatives. You will shape how cost control is delivered and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in cost management and/or project controls within a consultancy environment.
• Proven data centre experience, ideally across multiple projects or clients.
• Track record of leading and developing teams across a large or multi-project portfolio.
• Strong client-facing skills, with the credibility to advise senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of cost planning, forecasting, change control and project controls methodologies.
• Open to being based in Europe for periods when project needs require.
• MRICS, MSCSI or equivalent professional membership highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost management and project controls function across a large portfolio of data centre and mission-critical projects
• Build, manage and develop a high-performing team of cost and project controls professionals
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, providing strategic commercial advice and confident reporting
• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, change control and cost reporting across all projects
• Establish and embed consistent project controls standards, systems and reporting across the business
• Drive risk management, programme integration and performance measurement on complex, fast-track projects
• Support business development, proposals and the growth of key client accounts
• Contribute to the wider leadership and strategic direction of the business
