Job summary

Pardgroup seeks a Global Chief Operating Officer to align and scale its operating model across 10 markets from Dublin. You will oversee Procurement, Logistics and Technical functions, driving efficiency, cost optimisation and robust governance while reporting to the Group CEO.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior operations, strong leadership, cross-border experience and travel willingness to manage international teams.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in senior operations or COO-type roles, including 5+ years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience managing Procurement and Logistics across multiple countries.
• Experience building and scaling operating models across markets and regulatory environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with ability to influence at senior levels.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Company Description

Pardgroup, a leading multinational company in integrated services for retail and large-scale distribution, is seeking a Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Ireland team in Dublin.

Position

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the candidate will be responsible for strengthening and coordinating Pardgroup’s global operating model across its 10 international markets, with direct oversight of Procurement, Logistics and Technical functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Define and execute the global operating strategy, ensuring consistency, efficiency and alignment with the Group’s commercial objectives and the strategic direction of the Board;
  
• Lead global Procurement, Logistics and Technical functions, driving cost optimisation, service quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement;
  
• Develop supplier strategies, consolidate purchasing activities and negotiate global agreements, while ensuring effective logistics and supply chain performance across all markets;
  
• Ensure the business has the technology, systems and infrastructure required to operate efficiently at scale;
  
• Work closely with Country Managers and Business Unit Heads to align operational delivery with local business objectives, identify risks and standardise processes and governance;
  
• Lead and develop the global operations teams, setting clear objectives and building a high-performance culture with clear accountability;
  
• Monitor global operational KPIs, budgets and forecasts, providing regular reporting to the Group CEO and Board on performance, risks and opportunities;
  
• Ensure appropriate operational governance, regulatory compliance, health & safety and data protection standards across all markets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in senior operations or COO-type roles, including 5+ years in a senior leadership position;
  
• Proven experience managing Procurement and Logistics across multiple countries, ideally within a multinational, multi-site services environment;
  
• Experience building and scaling operating models across different markets and regulatory environments; field marketing, retail or events experience is a plus;
  
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex international organisation;
  
• Fluency in English, proficiency in additional European languages (French, Italian or Spanish) is an advantage;
  
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Pardgroup’s international markets.

For candidates relocating to Dublin, Pardgroup will provide company-paid accommodation for up to two months to support their relocation.
