Job summary

PartnerRe is seeking a highly experienced Head of Global Benefits & Retirement Savings Programs to shape and govern our multinational benefits portfolio for ~1,400 employees across 13+ countries. You will own strategy, design, governance, and financial oversight of health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and related programs.

You will lead negotiations with carriers, retirement providers, brokers, and consultants, partnering with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and HR teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits, pensions, retirement savings programs, or related discipline.
• Significant experience managing complex global benefits programs.
• Deep expertise in health and welfare benefits design, governance, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of retirement savings plans, pension arrangements, fiduciary responsibilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience negotiating with insurance carriers, retirement providers, brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
• Experience leading provider selection processes, market reviews, contract negotiations, and benefit program renewals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PartnerRe's global benefits strategy, philosophy, and governance framework.
• Lead design, review, and optimization of health, welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs.
• Oversee retirement savings and pension arrangements globally, ensuring compliance and fiduciary discipline.
• Act as global relationship owner for external partners including carriers, brokers, and consultants.
• Negotiate premiums, terms, SLAs, and governance for cost-effective, high-quality programs.
• Monitor program performance, drive governance, and provide senior leadership with market insights.
