Job summary

PGIM Ireland in Letterkenny is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join our hybrid-based Operations - Alternative Assets team. You will validate portfolio and transaction activity, prepare general ledger entries, and reconcile with custody banks while providing reporting to business partners.

The role focuses on recordkeeping, accounting, and data integrity for investment portfolios supporting the Insurance Companies, with exposure to data for the CIO and CRO.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, operations, or similar numerical role.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred degree in accounting/finance or business).
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing cash and balance reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Reviewing and analysing capital account statements and financial reports from Limited Partnerships.
• Processing cash transactions and monitoring related activity.
• Recording equity pick‑up (income and losses).
• Ensuring cash activity is accurately reflected in the general ledger and reconciles to banking activity.
• Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Monitoring data integrity and identifying discrepancies for resolution.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects across the team.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
