Job summary

PGIM Ireland in Letterkenny is seeking an Associate Actuary to join the Projections & Capital team. The role is based in Ireland with a hybrid model: two days on site weekly, with possible fully remote option depending on location and experience.

You will produce liabilities for forecasting and stress testing, collaborate with finance, treasury, and risk teams, and support Bermuda filings, pricing projects, and model refinement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in financial services, ideally reinsurance reporting near FSA or international equivalent.
• Knowledge of Bermuda EBS framework and reinsurance.
• Knowledge of other international accounting frameworks and/or insurance accounting; experience preparing balance sheets and income statements.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing liabilities items for forecasting and stress testing deliverables.
• Collaborate with valuation and reporting teams to capture business dynamics in forecasting and stress testing.
• Work with LotusRe and GibRe reporting teams to prepare and submit annual Bermuda filings.
• Collaborate with Modeling to refine models for forecasting, stress testing and capital reporting.
• Engage with Bermuda Finance/Actuarial teams, Business Unit Finance/Actuarial teams, Modelling, Treasury, Global Portfolio Management, Audit, Risk Management, Tax and Assumptions Teams.
• Support Bermuda reinsurance transaction analysis and pricing projects.
