Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking a Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager to join the Fund Operations team in Letterkenny. You will lead the accounting and reporting for assigned real estate portfolios, coordinating with the fund administrator and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will oversee deliverables, KPI tracking, and investor reporting while interacting with Legal, Transaction staff, and Policy groups to implement accounting policies and new treatments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting including financial statement preparation and review
• Experience in the real estate investment company industry strongly preferred
• Prior experience in public accounting or CPA strongly preferred
• Understanding of GAAP as it relates to fair market value of real estate investment company accounting
• Experience with managing a third-party fund administrator a plus
• Knowledge of REIT structures and taxation
• Ability to manage multiple processes within tight deadlines while responding to requests

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the third-party fund administrator
• Ensuring adequate oversight controls are in place and working properly
• Providing proper instructions and direction as needed
• Managing a calendar of deliverables including changes and up/downstream impacts
• Tracking Key Performance Indicators to gauge performance
• Balancing expectations/relationships between the business and fund administrator
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year performance returns
• Submitting data to industry organizations and consultants
• Producing client deliverables and portfolio analytics
• Supporting Asset Managers in ongoing operational matters
• Interacting with Legal, Transaction staff on acquisitions/sales
• Collaborating with Policy group on accounting policies
• Working with PGIM Real Estate Systems on data initiatives
• Overseeing audits with internal and external auditors
• Contributing to firm-wide projects and process improvements
