Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is recruiting a Global Accounts Payable Lead for its Dublin Finance Operations hub. This senior role owns the global AP operating model and leads across regions, delivering controls, automation and performance improvements.

You will work with senior finance leadership, drive standardisation, partner with accounting on month-end close, and build KPI dashboards while developing regional managers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in AP, P2P or Finance Ops with global leadership experience.
• Experience managing managers across regions and time zones.
• Extensive ERP experience (Oracle, SAP) and strong controls mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global AP operating model including invoices, T&E, payments, and controls.
• Lead and develop regional managers and analyst teams across locations.
• Own the AP control environment - vendor master, bank validation, payment authorisation.
• Partner with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, intercompany and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvement and automation across Oracle Cloud and related systems.
• Build KPI reporting and dashboards; act as escalation point for complex issues.

• Experience managing managers across regions and time zones
• Large ERP experience - Oracle, SAP or similar
• Strong technical accounting and a rigorous controls mindset
• Background in a large shared services or GBS environment
