Job summary

Etsy Ireland is seeking an Accountant to join the Dublin-based Accounting Team. You will manage international accounting, including US GAAP reporting and statutory compliance for multiple subsidiaries, with close collaboration across treasury, payroll, and external reporting.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Approximately 1 year post-qualification experience in a similar environment.
• Strong financial accounting background with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day, monthly and quarterly international accounting activities.
• Own US GAAP reporting and statutory accounting/compliance for multiple international entities.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting.
• Drive standardisation, automation, and process reengineering to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with treasury, external reporting, payroll, and cross-functional teams.
• Support audit processes and local statutory filings during closures.
