Job summary

Etsy, Inc. is seeking an Accountant to join the Accounting Team in Dublin. You will ensure timely US GAAP and local statutory reporting for international entities, with a focus on controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Approximately 1 year post-qualification experience in a similar organisation.
• Strong financial accounting knowledge and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day, monthly and quarterly International accounting activities.
• US GAAP reporting and local statutory compliance for several Etsy international entities.
• Own month-end close, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting.
• Perform monthly analytics for each subsidiary and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including treasury and payroll to ensure accurate monthly outcomes.
