Job summary

Dell Technologies in Ireland is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join the ECS team and deliver expert remote and onsite support for our Enterprise customers.

You will resolve complex issues, apply advanced diagnostic techniques, document solutions, and share knowledge with peers. You will engage with multiple channels—phone, email, and online—to sustain high levels of customer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree or the additional equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware, Linux and Enterprise Networking; CCNA/CCIE or similar certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in German and English with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently; analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise to resolve standard to complex issues using diagnostic procedures.
• Identify interoperability issues and deliver focused training and serviceability enhancements.
• Maintain a closed-loop communication style to inform all stakeholders of issue status and resolutions.
• Share knowledge on problem resolutions and assist junior engineers on complex cases.
• Contribute to knowledge databases and problem resolution optimization.
