Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Technical Architect (German Language) to design scalable AI-first architectures and guide customers from discovery to deployment. You will lead technical discussions, ensure integration readiness, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver measurable business value.

Fluent English and German required. The role is hybrid across Dublin and London, with global customer engagements and a focus on AI-powered CX innovations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in architecture, machine learning engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in production.
• Experience with AI-powered service tools, automation platforms, or conversational AI solutions.
• Experience evaluating data readiness, governance, and operational readiness for AI solutions.
• Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or CX technology environments.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, integrations, and solution design across web, backend, and mobile.
• Experience leading customer discovery sessions and translating business requirements into technical architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.

• AI Adoption Enablement: guide rollout planning and operational readiness for AI adoption.
• Technical Discovery: lead customer discovery to define high-value AI opportunities.

• Implementation Leadership: translate designs into successful implementations with quality and scope alignment.
